Before the triathletes from all over the world will compete in a hot race over the long distance at the DATEV Challenge Roth on June 25, 2023, they will be warmly welcomed by the city of Roth on Friday, June 23, at the start of the triathlon festival.

The highlight at the start of the sportiest weekend of the year is the already legendary "Welcome Party of the City of Roth": Around the Markgrafenbrunnen, the city of Roth will once again provide for the physical well-being and a colorful program from 6 p.m., before the historic market square with the BAYERN 3 band, the baby pumas and DJ Tonic is transformed into an unparalleled party arena.

For the safety of all guests, the city administration asks you to refrain from backpacks and large bags when attending the event. There will be event-related checks at the entrances.

All-clear - boil-off order lifted

The boil-off order for the city of Roth can be lifted with immediate effect

Stadtwerke Roth is pleased to announce that the entire water supply network of Stadtwerke Roth is free of germs that are hazardous to health. Therefore, as of today, Thursday, June 22, 2023, in coordination with the Roth Health Department, the all-clear can be given and the boil-off order in the city of Roth can be lifted again. The results of the microbiological drinking water tests now fully comply with the provisions of the Drinking Water Ordinance.

During sampling of the drinking water of an above-ground hydrant at the Roth fairground, faecal germs were detected at the hydrant, as already reported. As an immediate measure, the Roth Health Department issued a boil-off order on Thursday, June 15, 2023. As a result, further test series were arranged.

As a result of these measures, the close-meshed sample series, which were taken from the water supply system and at defined sampling points from the water network of Stadtwerke Roth, were now in order without restrictions. Thus, fortunately, it can be determined that the damage was a punctual contamination.

If you have any questions about drinking water hygiene, please contact Stadtwerke Roth on 09171 9727-0 and the Roth Health Department on 09171 81-1601.
