From Hilpoltstein to Roth
The way between Neumühle in the south and Oberer Mühle in the north of the administrative district of Roth is linked by 17 mills.
Living, retailing and running riding schools – these are only some of the mills’ functions in modern times, whereas Schweitzermühle is still fully dedicated to its original function of milling grain. On a hiking tour along the River Roth, those gems and contemporary witnesses of the industrial revolution can be explored on an idyllic tour.
